Facebook/Myspace Profile Pictures

Why? Why? Why would anyone think that it is appropriate to have their profile picture, a picture of them and someone else kissing!?!?!

This is not okay with me! Kissing is something that should be shared and cherished between two people.... NOT with the entire Facebook/Myspace community. It's just too private... and I really think it's just plain tacky.(but it seriously makes it worse when the two people kissing, just plain disgust you anyway).

The Honeybadgers(sigh)

Alright, I'm just gonna put this out there... I am a sore loser! I've come to terms with it, I'm not in denial... and someone else telling me this will not hurt my feelings.


I CANNOT deal with another Honeybadgers loss... I know that we will be a total Cinderella story and completely dominate the tournament.... but I don't think I can handle the losses until then.

We need a pitcher NOT a belly itcher.
Pitching seems to be the downfall.... we win most of the games, and then the last inning... we walk people, we give them runs.... we bascially hand them the game.

Also, can I say that the umpire behind the plate last night didn't have a clue what he was doing.... SEVERAL balls he called a strike, were not... and I mean that for both teams, I'm not being partial. AND also the other team at some point had an illegal player, the ump knew and did nothing about it! If only this wasn't CHURCH softball.... If only...

Does that really work on women?

First let me briefly explain the checking out policy at Lifeway. We try and keep a record of every customer, don't ask me why.... we just do. So, the first thing we do is ask the customer for a phone number b/c that's the easiest way to keep track...
Okay, so I am at work tonight, and this man, who by the way was almost bald, and also wearing a very tight t-shirt(and he didn't really have any muscles)... also let me mention that this t-shirt was for some random gym that I have never heard of before. Anyways, so I ask this guy if I can get his phone number.... His response.... "Only if I can get yours first".... ummmm, okay.... but he doesn't stop there... he continues, " Or, I can just write mine down for you, assuming of course you'll promise to use it"..... I don't even know how to respond to that... I kept waiting for some guy to pop up out of nowhere and tell me I was being punk'd or something.....
Note to everyone who is male(or really just everyone in general).... This does not work!!!!! Please NEVER do this!!!!!!

HoneyBadgers Softball

The honeybadgers had our first "official" game last night... and suffered a heartbreaking loss. And I mean super heartbreaking... I Hate losing! probably more than anything else in the world...But I suppose you have to lose some to win some...

Third base gave me a panic attack.
I am not prepared to play in the in field. So when I was moved the third, I freaked out. Mostly because I don't have a clue what to do. But thanks to my good buddies Ryan and Jake, nothing bad happened(probably b/c they had to play harder to make up for me). Hopefully, I can regain my position in right field next game. :o)



Can I just take a moment to express my love for Michael J. Fox and the Back to the Furture movies. All of them.... They just don't make good movies like that anymore...

Ya know what really gets on my nerves?

I think from time to time we humans need to vent, otherwise we will explode... I'm pretty certain of that... I have certain friends who usually get the brunt of my venting, however there are some things that I CANNOT vent enough about...

1. Chewed pens in the church pew-- Why would someone do that? Okay... Eww.... I wouldn't even begin to know whose hands those pens have been in. And people stick them in their mouth!! I don't understand.... also, please be considerate and think of others who will be forced to use your chewed pen.

2. Tuscaloosa Cops-- Alright enough is enough.... the whole world knows that you are in fact about 65% Auburn fans.... So it's time to be an actual cop, and arrest real criminals, and stop picking on Bama stars and charging them with bogus charges, i.e. Disorderly Conduct

3. Flakey People-- I absolutely cannot tolerate people who say that they will do something and don't follow through... It's seriously not going to hurt my feelings if you say no.

4. People who use their car horn too much-- I don't enjoy getting honked for something beyond my control. It's just rude...

This is it, This is how I'm gonna die

If you haven't had the flu, you should get down on your hands and knees and thank the good Lord. I have never been this sick in my life. At some point yesterday I actually said to my mother "This is it, This is how I'm going to die." To which she responded, "Carrie, Shut up." She too has been sick, as well as my younger brother, so this household pretty much just needs to shut down, sterilize and start all over.
Anyways, on top of the flu, my sinuses are also infected. Which is lovely fun.
I wish I could say that I have a new and exciting story to share, but I don't. Really the most exciting thing I have done is breathe(which is actually a big accomplishment)... but you know what is exciting, my Savior paid my debt, so even if this is the way I die, I will feel awesome cuz I'll be with him!

Adventures at Lifeway Stores

In case your wondering Lifeway CHRISTIAN Stores do not carry Catholic items.... Why would anyone think that? But indeed it was my life today.... I simply responded politely " No mam, we don't carry those..." However, I wanted to say... Ummm nooooo the store formally known as the Baptist Book Store does not carry anything that is Catholic.... Ohhhh.... Goodness well this is my life... I guess that saying is true, maybe my spiritual gift is sarcasm.

Also, in case you are in need of some supplies to furnish your next Lord's Supper, Lifeway has 75 boxes of Communion crackers... I know this b.c I counted them all... they also have an unlimited amount of VBS t-shirts(about 219)... and also for all your gift giving needs Lifeway has 347 different kinds of bookmarks and key chains(counted those too). Inventory was this weekend... I personally think it should be renamed as New Associate Initiation.... b/c seriously I don't remember EVER being that tired, I mean I only worked 28 hours in 2 days.
I am very thankful to be surrounded by the Good Quality folks at Lifeway, however I can never forget for one second that even though the people love the Lord.... this job is still retail....and it's everything I don't wanna do for the rest of my life.
